  • ABC Studios home to Regis & Kelly
  • Home of celebrities and stars on Central Park West
  • Guided tour of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine -- the worlds largest gothic cathedral - Stop for pastry & coffee at local cafe.
  • Pass Columbia University, Grant's Tomb, Riverside Church
  • Walking tour of the historic Sugar Hill District -- filled with magnificent houses and mansions
  • Travel down Museum Mile
10:45 PM Visit The Metropolitan Museum of Art. -- a must see(the most visited attraction in NYC) This world renowned museum houses the most encyclopedic collection of Art & Antiquities in the world. Covering 17 acres with 2 million square feet of gallery space, everyone will find something of joy in this extraordinary collection of four million objects. Some of the major sights are... an actual Egyptian temple taken apart brick by brick and moved to the museum from the banks of the Nile. A huge collection of musical instruments, guns & weapons, the largest collection of Roman & Greek artifacts outside of Rome & Greece. An extraordinary collection of European painting(10% of the worlds Rembrants!) We will offer a guided tour of the museum for those that want it with time to explore or shop on your own.
1:15 PM Depart MET, continue past the Frick Collection, Temple Emanuel and the Central Park Zoo
1:30 PM Stop at Grand Army Plaza to begin your stroll down the famous Fifth Avenue shopping district. Along the way feel free to stop in at:

8:45 AM Depart for New York City on the way to Greenwich Village travel down 7th avenue, home of the Garment District
9:45 AM Walking tour of Greenwich Village - New York's largest historic district and enjoy coffee and pastry at an Italian cafe. (Cost not included)
11:15 AM board the NYC Subway for a high speed ride to Battery Park and board boats for the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. (Spend the afternoon visiting these two international monuments at your own pace)
4:20 PM Return from Ellis Island
4:55 PM Depart for Chinatown and explore the largest Asian community in American on foot
6:00 PM Chinese Banquet dinner The Ginger House 27&27AV
7:15 PM Depart for campground

Friday
9:00 AM Depart for New York City
9:45 AM Visit the Empire State Building for a bird's eye view of the city

  • Visit Grand Central Station
11:45 PM Macy's - lunch on your own in or around Macy's (with some time for shopping)
2:15 PM Depart for campground. Pass Madison Square Garden on the way.
4:45 PM Depart for New York City
6:00 PM World Yacht -- elegant dinning aboard a floating nightclub. The twinkling lights of the world most fabulous skyline is your constant background as you sail the river and harbor while enjoying a superb meal and live entertainment.

Saturday - Farwell
Be sure to stop by your Wagonmaster's unite for coffee and doughnuts to say good-bye to all your new friends before leaving the Big Apple. Drive Carefully and we hope to see you at another event soon.
