Alamos
   Located in Southeastern Sonora and founded in the 17th century, Alamos contains many buildings displaying classic colonial architecture. Many of the buildings being left behind when the silver mines became abandoned and are now being restored by wealthy Americans. Carroll O'Connor ("Archie Bunker") owned a hacienda there.
